Overview: March 23 - 29, 2026
IN THE RAPIDS: The Aries Sun shines a bright spotlight on the Great Unraveling during the first few days of the coming week. Sol is activating the effects of the ongoing Saturn-Neptune alignment, being exactly conjunct Neptune today (March 22) and conjoining Saturn on Wednesday (March 25).
On a personal level, we can use these aspects to become more disciplined and focused about our spiritual practice, or in how we take compassionate action in the world. With these planets all in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, there is a strong desire for a new beginning in some area of our lives. One very positive manifestation is feeling creatively inspired and also courageous about starting a new endeavor, while also having the commitment necessary for the longer-term process.
In the outer world, the Sun-Saturn-Neptune alignment is likely to bring to light more revelations that could cause additional disillusionment or disorientation. Social systems, governmental structures, and authority figures that do not resonate with the higher energies that are flooding our planet may be seen more clearly now, or by more people. What has been held in secret is no longer hidden, as the veil of illusion thins.
Self-care and proper rest are essential as we navigate the energies this week. Our physical, emotional, and mental bodies could be in overwhelm with all the rapid changes that are underway, and we might also be feeling spiritual fatigue. Some may be experiencing a deeper crisis of faith as what they once believed in appears to be disintegrating.
SATURN SEXTILE PLUTO: A commitment to social change is supported and empowered this week as disciplined Saturn in Aries forms a harmonious sextile with determined Pluto in Aquarius. A sextile aspect can be subtle, since it does not compel us to take action as the harder aspects do; instead, it represents an opportunity that is open to us, should we decide to put in the effort.
To take advantage of this Saturn-Pluto aspect, we can focus on a specific step we want to take, one that feels in alignment with our own personal mission statement. The planets will then help us to do the patient work that is required to achieve that goal, and will assist us in having the courage, the commitment, and the passion needed.
VENUS AND CHIRON-ERIS: The effects of the Chiron-Eris conjunction in Aries are still very strong, with their exact alignment just occurring last week (March 19). This Thursday, Venus will align with both the Wounded Healer and the Goddess of Discord, bringing our awareness to how archetypal feminine qualities are discounted, as well as how the female gender has been abused and traumatized.
At the same time, Mercury will be in minor hard aspect (semisquare) to Venus, Chiron, and Eris. Conversations or news stories may challenge us to express an opinion or to speak more forthrightly, which could be uncomfortable with the Messenger Planet in sensitive, often nonverbal Pisces.
The process of exposing a wound is never comfortable or easy, but it is necessary. It is in the diagnosis of an illness that we are able to focus on the steps needed for healing. It is in the awareness of a wrongdoing that we can intentionally make new choices.

Sun conjunct Saturn, Sun sextile Pluto: Today is a day of reckonings, reality checks, and facing truths. As we take stock of exactly where we are, we are empowered to make necessary changes.
Thursday
Mercury semisquare Venus, Venus conjunct Eris/Chiron, Mercury semisquare Eris/Chiron: People may be defensive or reactive today, due to a heightened sensitivity to being ignored and discounted.
Friday
Mars semisquare Ceres, Mars semisquare Pluto: Anger could arise as people become more aware of how their needs and their resources are being compromised. Power struggles are likely.
Saturday
Pluto square Ceres: Fears may surface regarding the availability of what is needed to meet basic needs. This square can also represent environmental upheaval or disruptions in the supply of resources we commonly rely on.
Saturn sextile Pluto: This aspect represents an opportunity for us to reclaim our inner authority and to become more empowered through strategic action.
Mars conjunct Pallas Athena: This alignment in Pisces encourages us to act on our compassion and on our intuition. Some may feel inspired to actively fight for a cause.
