The film focuses on Tomas Young, an Iraq War veteran who was paralyzed from a bullet to the spine, who Mr. Donahue met at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Mr. Donahue was one of the critics of the Iraq War before the U.S. invaded, and his purpose in making the film was to draw attention to the soldiers who were injured in the war but that most Americans were not forced to see.
