METEOR FEST: The night skies are alive with activity as two annual meteor showers overlap this week—the Southern Delta Aquariids, which peak on July 29-30, and the Perseids, which will peak on August 12-13. The best time to view both meteor showers is actually over the next few nights, when the Moon is still just a crescent in the sky.
Since ancient times, humans have assigned various spiritual meanings to seeing a "shooting star." The meteors themselves are small pieces of debris left behind by comets or asteroids, that burst into flame when interacting with Earth's upper atmosphere. Seeing a meteor can thus symbolize a process of transformation, a burning away of old habits, outdated beliefs, or emotional debris. Or, we might sense that seeing a meteor is a message from spirit guides, or understand meteor showers as being communication from the far reaches of space.
SATURN AND SEDNA: Saturn and the dwarf planet Sedna are precisely sextile this week. This harmonious but relatively subtle aspect occurred for the first time on June 14 and will be exact for the third and final time on February 20, 2026.
Saturn's task is to help us be realistic and practical, while Sedna represents a process of transformation that opens the door to the fulfillment of our spiritual destiny. As these two planets work together, we have the opportunity to gain clarity on our higher purposes for this lifetime.
However, with Saturn now retrograde, there may be some unfinished business to complete before we are fully ready to manifest a new enterprise. Any delays in this area can be interpreted as being a sign from the cosmos that it is not yet the right timing; circumstances to support new endeavors are likely to be more stable after Saturn goes direct on November 27.
URANUS IN GEMINI SNIPPET: As one of the transpersonal planets, Uranus represents Higher Consciousness and the Divine Mind. Uranus’ transit through Gemini (2025-2033) facilitates the expansion of consciousness, the awakening of intuitive gifts, an openness to unfamiliar ideas, and an increase in our ability to access or channel high-level information. Developments in these areas are also supported by the Uranus-Neptune sextile that perfects for the first time on August 28.

Monday
Venus sextile Chiron: A sensitivity to others and an ability to truly listen can help heal relationships now.
Saturn sextile Sedna: This aspect can help us feel more grounded in our sense of higher purpose. While Saturn draws upon the wisdom of past experience, Sedna helps us have faith in the unknown potentials of the future.
Tuesday
No major aspects are exact today.
Wednesday
Mars quincunx Eris: Irritations or frustrations are possible, especially when things don't go according to plan or seem outside of our control.
Venus enters Cancer: While Venus is in the sign of the Crab, from July 30 to August 25, our choices in relationship and financial matters are influenced by our needs for emotional security and support. The desire to nurture and be nurtured is heightened, and yet some may feel more vulnerable than usual, preferring to nest at home rather than socializing.
Thursday
Sun conjunct Mercury-R: With Mercury now retrograde, this alignment may be best utilized for introspection, journaling, and mindfulness meditations.
Friday
Venus square Saturn, Venus square Neptune, Venus quincunx Pluto: We may feel dissatisfied in our relationships, be dealing with trust issues, or feel more isolated today. With Venus in nurturing Cancer, it could be important to consider whether our personal relationships include an equal exchange of nurturing, or if we tend to play the caregiver role and do not allow others to see our vulnerabilities.
Saturday
Mars quincunx Chiron: Be cautious about offering perspectives or directives today; although we want to be helpful and may believe we have the perfect solution to a problem, our actions could be interpreted as criticism.
