September 29 - October 5, 2025

THE WEEK AHEAD: We are now moving through the final days of Eclipse Season. During this time, life will most likely continue to feel intense, unpredictable, and a bit surreal. There will still be reverberations and fall-out from all that has transpired over the past four weeks, and we could also experience new events related to the eclipse themes.

A Full Moon in Aries occurs next Monday, October 6. While not an eclipse, this lunation carries extra significance since it marks the climax of the lunar cycle that began with the New Moon Solar Eclipse on September 21. Next week's Full Moon also officially closes the door on Eclipse Season. More on this subject in next week's Journal!

DAILY ASPECTS THIS WEEK (September 29 - October 5, 2025):

Here are my brief interpretations of this week's most important aspects, day by day:

Monday
No major aspects are exact today. However, the First Quarter phase of the Moon begins at 4:53 p.m. PDT. As the waxing Capricorn Moon squares the Libra Sun, we may see new developments related to events that occurred under the influence of our recent Solar Eclipse. We are challenged to re-evaluate our goals, to address any fears or doubts that may have arisen, and to commit to taking action, as necessary. We may become aware of where we want to collaborate with others (Sun in Libra) and where we need to be self-reliant (Moon in Capricorn).

Tuesday
No major aspects are exact today.

Wednesday
Mercury square Jupiter: The news cycle goes through another acceleration phase today, perhaps resulting in information overload. Voices, opinions, and the demand for fairness are amplified. Some may be self-righteous, moralistic, or defensive.

Thursday
Sun opposite Ceres: We could experience dissatisfaction in relationships today, especially those that we usually turn to for emotional support. This is another opportunity to remember that each person has their own version of "love language."
Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto: Trust might be an issue in relationships today, especially if we are already prone to jealousy or possessiveness. This aspect challenges us to look at the underlying fears that could be feeding suspicions or inspiring manipulative behaviors.

Friday
Mercury opposite Eris, Mercury opposite Chiron: We are very conscious of the harm inflicted by the shadow qualities of Aries today. Our attention is drawn to behaviors such as egotism, arrogance, self-centeredness, and bullying. Our challenge is not to take on the role of victim, but to use the situation as an incentive to heal our own wounds and to strengthen our courage.

Saturday
Venus conjunct South Node: People from the past, or patterns of relating that have affected our relationship history, may surface now. We could hear from someone that we used to know, dream of a past relationship, or recognize karmic patterns that we are now ready to untangle.
Mercury quincunx Saturn: Communications could be challenging today. We might also experience delays or frustrations in plans or travels.

Sunday
Mars quincunx Ceres: Emotions could be intensified today. Some may act defensively or be demanding in expressing their needs.

If Your Birthday Is This Week (September 29 - October 5):

The theme of relationship is often centerstage for you, Libra. This year, you are being asked to find a new balance between your desire for companionship and collaboration and your need to feel autonomous. You may become most aware of this issue through feeling dissatisfied with how loved ones nurture and support you. This situation requires that you ask yourself: Do I nurture myself and make that a priority in my life? Or do I base my well-being on whether others express caring for me in ways that fulfill me? And do I believe that I must always be the one who compromises, thus blocking my ability to truly feel supported in my relationships? (Solar Return Sun opposite Ceres)
